No passage in scripture ever indicates that babies are born “separated from God”.

An aborted human baby? Heaven, Hell or be as though they had not been? Right after birth, the baby takes a few breath's and expires (dies), Heaven, Hell or something else? Several adults asked Christ, "What must I do to be saved?" Uh, I might think you mean "human nature" for both. And that we (us), excluding Jesus, have a sinful fallen nature in our human nature. Also known as "sin" in our human nature. Again respectfully excluding Jesus from the sin nature that is in the human nature.

I agree, Self is the root of sin, and must be dethroned, hated! It is we who make our children sinner's, our example is to love self and they follow. Our children are to be born as John the Baptist, and they would be if the Holy Spirit indwells us! I see it so clearly in our grandchildren, their parents do not love God, and I see that spirit waring against the innocence of the children, this is a great evil! Children will readily love God, but they are taught to hate him by the example of actions of selfishness, sin comes into their lives! Woe to man because of offences!

Well if I'm understanding this, if a newborn baby dies and has not had the opportunity to commit sin, to repent and be born again, the baby will go to hell. Am I understand that correctly?

We are born sinners just as a hawk is born a predator. It is a state of the mind which determines what someone or something is. One can be sinning but is not condemned for it unless what is right is known and doing what is right is rejected. Once again, it is a state of mind.

The faith of the parent covers the unborn child and covers the born child until it is old enough to reason between right and wrong for itself. We are saved by the spotless, selfless righteousness of Christ, not by our own polluted works.
