Brother fought against Brother at Culloden and my ancestors transported.
America is the best thing that could have happened to us politically, even so Jesus is the best king anyone could ever hope for.

this is by far....the best presentation of the genealogy of Jesus that I have ever heard...and when Brother Begg began to share of the women and the character of bet you could hear a pin drop...I was stopped in my tracks and for the first time really understood the absolute truth of the scripture 2nd Cor 12:9-11...and pray to use this when sharing the Gospel especially to ones who believe they are not good enough to be saved. It drives home the truth that NONE are and could ever be good enough and that's why Christ came to take our punishment to bridge that HUGE chasm between God and praise God for Brother Begg and his faithfulness to be led by the Spirit of God and teach with authority...!

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video while researching the genealogies ofJesus in Matthew and Luke. I'm so glad Alistair preaches the importance of the entire Bible and doesn't divorce the Hebrew Scriptures from the New Testament (also written by Hebrews.)

Love the comments about the women in Jesus's lineage, but, of course, the men all have feet of clay as well...as indeed, we all do. It heartens me no end when I contemplate God's cast of characters in His Holy Scripture. By including their weaknesses as well as their strengths, they exhibit the same need of salvation by grace that I do!
