The best way to learn is to go for it and try. It's so true. You gave me the courage to try and even more important to say to myself "it's ok if it doesn't work out the way I thought".

I got so excited when I saw a notification that you were dyeing silk.

Your enthusiasm over the silk is very contagious. And although the pink isn’t as rich as the other yarn, the gray looks more silver then the other Yarns so the trade-off is kind of interesting. If you want to dye other colored Yarns then yes I would say go for the higher dye content, but that silver is stunning and should be done exactly the same way every time because it’s gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!

As you said, not everyone can have a bunch of undyed yarn at a time, so I definitely use your videos to see what works and what doesn't. You've helped me a lot in my dyeing journey! <3

I loved the silk video, thank you! I dyed my own handspun mulberry silk fibre and it took the colour fabulously - wonderfully saturated colour and no felting. I wish I could use silk all the time :) By the way, if anyone is interested, after a bit of experimenting, I decided to knit the silk with linen stitch and I loved the result.

I enjoy your videos so much. I love how much my wife gets out of what you do. She's only at the KoolAid stage, but she's had such great results!

Silk is so satisfying!!! It works good with reactive dyes too. I did some samples with plant fiber baths, and the shine is amazing!

The silk is absolutely stunning! I love all three but in the end I went with the silk being my favorite. Thanks for sharing your journey with all of us.

I love your videos. You're so curious and positive, and I'm sure you've given lots of people (me included!) the confidence to start dyeing yarns themselves. (Incidentally, I've just received some pure silk and silk blend yarns that I bought from AliExpress, and they're both gorgeous and much cheaper than I can buy here in the UK. They take a while to arrive--two or three weeks--but the extra value is well worth the wait. It's worth investigating if you dye a lot of yarn.)

I love this yarn and this colorway. My davorite Bamboo Pop colorway is the hot pink and gray. This reminds me of it so much. Just so beautiful.

The silk is beautiful, but I like the blend of colour of the silk wool blend best. Thanks for another informative video.

I would be so excited to see what you make with that silk skein! (Assuming it’s not going in your shop)

I think the type of silk makes a difference, too. I have dyed mulberry silk with both koolaid and wiltons, with minimal bleeding. Tussah silk, however was a nightmare of huge proportions and completely shifted color from purple to teal after drying in direct sunlight (shawl is still gorgeous).

The yarns are so pretty! I'm glad you had this video for I have some that I wanted to try and dye.
