A heated nail that is slightly larger than the current hole in your squeeze bottle top should help you.

Rebecca loved the colours. I have just purchased some yarn to dye for the first time. My yarn is Merino/Kid Mohair/Superfine Alpaca - DK so soft and gorgeous. I have purchased some food colouring and just wanted to know for one hank I want to make an ombre and not variegated. Would you heat in a pot of microwave as you have just shown in your Podcast. How much would you put of the dye .... hope you don't mind me asking you as I don't want to totally mess the yarn up because it is an absolute dreamy and soft yarn ?
