Where were you on September 8, 1985? A small change in the history books from decades ago can go a long way.

What an awesome video. I never knew about 4, 189 being Cobb’s real record. Very well made video!

I just love this series you are producing. It has become "Drop Everything / Must Watch" video for me. I remember the chase to beat Cobb. Pete Rose was in the pantheon of boyhood heros, held up by my father for his Charlie Hustle approach to life. Thanks for (again!) shining a light on baseball history.

Excellent video my friend...I was pretty young when the record was broken, but I remember my Dad emphasizing "see the bat boy, that's his son"

Reminds of the time when I working on some record book stuff at Notre Dame and somebody's point total in a game didn't match up to what was printed for YEARS! I did the math and had somebody else do the math and we got the same numbers. From the original stat page after the game. I was told to never talk about it again.
