It’s so beautiful that he’s able to verbalize and express himself this way.

😅😁🤭 My son isn't deaf but he's autistic and HIS Dr's said don't be surprised if he doesn't want hugs and affection.... My son ALWAYS wants me to touch him, hold him, hug him etc. 🤗 Your son is just so adorable!

When I taught in a preschool deaf classroom I actually had people say "oh! Your class must be so quiet!"

One of my hearing impaired students plays high school football, and flag football in special Olympics. Most of my other athletes don't know much ASL but he grunts, growls and vocalizes with gestures to make his point

I own a few deaf animals and I'm losing my hearing and sight myself... We are not quiet. The police roll up a LOT because we're being nasty loud during the night and most of the time I can't realize my dogs are barking at eachother because I won't hear it / see it to hear it. Had to put up a "deaf" sign on my property and explain to my neighbours that my animals deafness is going to continue to ruin their property value because I'm here to let them live, because they would struggle in other homes.(+ My blind cat listens to all the barking to know where we all are, gotta get the busiest room for the best snuggles and treats)

I used to be super talkative as a toddler. So much so that my family nicknamed me "Radio" and when they wanted me to change the topic, they would touch my ear (like they were tuning a radio station) and I would actually change the thing I'm speaking about
Nowadays I'm very quiet and kept to myself and my mom always says she misses me talking so much. So I guess take it all in? Lmao you never know

I used to work with a deaf man who also had other diagnoses. He did not speak but could scream if he was scared or hurt. He was always trying to steal other peoples food but I could always tell where he was even when out of sight because of his footsteps. I don't think he ever realized that he was making noises that I could hear. Since Coop has his implants at least maybe he understands that he makes noise?
