10 best college degrees for money

I get Dms all the time saying I dropped out of college, and Unemployed and following my dreams and I refused to ever work for anyone again. So for this video I’ll give you some ideas when it comes to high-paying degrees.

💲1 on 1 Talk + My Budget + Stock Investments💲

💰MY M1 FINANCE PORTFOLIO💰 PLUS $10

1. The first thing is, we are going to go to Google and type in the Highest-paying labor statistics and this will give us 20 options
- Not only that but it will give us over 100 options of different jobs
- From the highest paying to the lowest paying jobs

A quick summary of all these top jobs

2. Here is what you want
- You want a job that you like
- That is you are good at ( but it's still challenging )
- And that is going to pay you a lot of money

How do you find it:
- Well I just showed you and I bet not every single one of you wants to become a surgeon or work in the healthcare field
- So the idea is going to be to look for something that matches the skills you have and give it a try
- If you want to work in a hospital, take an entry positions to see how things work ( and then decide if you want to upgrade )

3. Here is a story that I never told anyone
- I did youtube wrong for 11 years
- I made content about whatever was popular no matter if I liked it or I didn’t
- I was searching for the one video that was going to blow up

However:
- When I learned that the best way to learn is from someone that’s already doing it
- I reach out to over 50 YouTubers and ask them to be their editor for free
- And I started to edit for them and talk to them and help them

One of my Bosses at the time told me: his youtube is Fornerworld by the way
- He said Tommy, you have great content, you’re quality is good, you can tell you’ve been doing it for a while
- But it's going to be so hard for you to become successful because you make so many different videos ( you’re confusing your audience )
- And then just like that, everything clicked

I had been editing:
- For people that focused on one thing ( and that’s why they were successful
- I was trying to be a jack of all trades ( which mean I was not good at anything)
- So when I started to focus on Finance, something I like, I’m good at and came to make money ( that’s when things worked out for me )

Tip: the point is, you need to be open to work under people and learn from them and then put it into action. Obviously, for some of you, you won't be able to work under a surgeon or lawyer, but you can buy books on those topics and read textbooks and take free classes online in colleges ( to see if you are even interested )

4. I’m sorry If I disappointed you with this video
- But I think money comes last when choosing what to do
- Because what comes first is all that time you're going to spend at a job
- So if you don’t like it, it's going to be hell, no matter how the money they pay you

If you're thinking of going to college, make sure you know what kind of job your degree will help you get. People that don't consider this end up swimming in debt.

I work as a General Service Tech, which is someone that changes/rotate tires, battery check and replacement, and oil changes. It is something that I like doing because I want to move up and actually start working on cars. I didn’t go to school but I am planning on going back because electric vehicles may be the future so I want to continue learning!

Lol Tommy just out of curiosity I went on that site and found my career, I laughed at the salary. I'm a Petroleum Engineer but I never worked in the US. I worked in Bahrain for 8yrs. My salary was over 200k tax free. I'm a contractor.

I wanted to become a financial analyst but because I didn't have any experience i couldn't even get the entry level positions....after years of rejection I just chose to create my own path/multiple streams of income. Although I wanted to continue to pursue that job my wife and 2 kids wasn't going to feed themselves so I had no other choice but to sacrifice that goal. Everyone please search for internships as early as possible because these corporate jobs don't want to give nobody a chance and build them into the person they want. How are we suppose to have experience if they won't give it to us?!?!?

Went to colleges back the stone ages, early 1990s. Arizona State, cost was $500 semester unlimited classes, instate. And back then they had these things called "JOBS." Paid for it w/ part time pizza delivery and computer programming. My apartment was shared at $175/month. No worries, just a lot of fun living a block away from campus.

I feel terrible for today's youth, perhaps a decade or longer of college debt. That said, IMO if you do go USA, attend a public school, instate. Find a cheap one that is well known (as ASU, U of Arizona, UNLV) or some public university that has the name of a state or large city behind it. Private universities are insanely expensive and overall give little to no benefits over public.

I totally agree with shadowing someone before choosing a major. Definitely will save you time and money.

I'm glad you came out with this video. A lot of millennials feel they can drop out college and start a YouTube channel, tik tok, forex trading, etc. What they don't know how long it takes to really make money ( if they're good). Sometimes it's better to major in I.T or a healthcare occupation and take the slow and steady route. I have a degree and make well over 6 figures in the IT field. YouTube is my hobby. However, a lot of ppl will go the quick route and hope for the best. That's fine, just have other income streams

If your confused on what to study in college I would recommend Shane Hummus - The success GPS - his channel is really informative and it helped me with my choice.

Tomy I chose computer science but I got stuck in c++, discrete structures, and linear algebra. I feel I cant pass these classes therefore cant progress in my degree. All I ever planned in high school was a programming degree and now I feel Lost in school but also in life and In my progression of my academics. I really don't want to work a minimum wage job for like 12k a year in a Tortilla factory like the rest of my family. I need to pass a degree, what can you recommend me, Thank you so much Tommy I'm a long time subscriber. KEEP killing it bro

Can I be honest about this issue, and this is just my own experience and opinion, but I graduated in 2002, I have a 2 year electrical certificate that made me my journeyman electrician license which I've rarely used, but 1 month after graduation I decided to follow my father's footsteps and become a Underground Coal Miner. First year I made $38k and keep in mind that's only 6 months worth of work because I graduated high school in may, 2nd year I earned 76k, 3rd year 94k, and I've been earning over 110k every year since, after obtaining several state and federal certifications I've been 140k plus for the past 12 years if you factor bonuses and overtime I'm closer to 185k a year if I work metal non metal mines, if I work coal I usually earn 145-155k. I like metal non metal most because the schedule is usually 7 on 7 off and that's great, if you factor in my day trading and side hustles my gross income closer to 250k a year. You don't have to go ass deep in debt for a degree you might be able to use, I'm a 4th generation miner, and I'll be a miner till I die, for those unsure what to do or has very little time to become financially stable because your young and have a baby on the way etc, mining can change your life if you're a hard worker and have no fear of working Underground, put me in a mine 36 inches high in a few inches of mud and water 1200 ft deep, 20 miles from the surface portal, and I'm happy as a pig in shit lol it's made me very successful, my home, Property, vehicles, etc all paid off, I have no major bills, my power is solar and wind powered, our property has 2 good wells on it, I'm 37 years old and 100% debt free and loving life!!! If anyone wants any information on how to get started with Underground mining hit me up I'll help you get started🤘🏻🤘🏻 best luck and wishes all much Respect and love fam!!! 💯💯💯💯
