yeah but you cant send using imap sending is done by smtp

When I try this with Mac Mail though, and delete the email that was read with Mac Mail, , somehow the Gmail server never gets the message to delete that email, and then it ends up repeatedly going to the MacMail client. It's annoying, and it really bothers me that I can't. get it to work. no matter how much hair I pull out.
