See how Gaetz spun that--Richmond was specifically talking about black people being killed in the streets and if one those killed was a child (or someone else's) he would be concerned. He added the last comment about being more concerned than you (Gaetz) as Gaetz wasn't getting the point. Gaetz knew he was getting hammered so he tried to latch on to Richmond's last comment by intentionally and knowingly interpreting it as ad-hoc and turned the debate as a person who is offended that someone would care about "his" family more than him. Its so shady how Gaetz played that. But a lot of people fall for it and sympathized with Matt.
