i've had my cat for about seven years now, since he was nine weeks old and i was 16. i moved in with my partner last january. i had that bond with him from kittenhood, and i also feed him, hold him, refill his water fountain, clean out his litterbox, generally care for his base needs. my partner plays with him more than i do and the two have bonded really well. he always sleeps on our bed with us at night, and either on our bed or on our spare mattress during the day.

I used to have 6 cats and at the time I slept on the couch of my house due to renovations and they all flocked to me when I’d go to sleep, some on my legs, some on my chest and one on my neck… it was heaven lol

I got my cat when her owner wouldn't/couldn't take her when they moved overseas because she was a house cat and hadn't gotten her shots. I feel like I'm diappointing her because she likes to sleep on me while I'm on my side and when I roll over she does as well not by her choice. She just turned 10 and I've had her 9 months.
