The Draconic Tree Sentinel stands guard in front of the main gate to Leyndell, Capital City. He seems to not have all the moves from the gameplay demo they showed back in 2021, but maybe I just never had them happen to me?

02:45 The Draconic Tree Sentinel (Crumbling Farum Azula) is using the AoE lightning (storm or wave?) attack, which you are referring to. It seems to always be triggered when you are within proximity while the Sentinel is below 50% HP. I play as a ranged Black Flame prophet, so mostly the ranged lightning attacks are worrisome for my style.

The best guidance for this boss is to go around and sneak behind him use the poison mist incantation and keep casting it everytime it stops and bring some blue flasks.

He will always charge at you after few fire ball and lightning bolt,

When he charging and about to attack you, you can roll forward and attack, and back dodge his second attack and then you can attack him another time

Trying to closing in when he shot fireballs can be tricky because sometimes he will shot fireball to the floor and it might damage you and stop you from getting in

With the move of raining lightning that you did not get to see, I did run it to this move a bit and to be honest its not to hard of a move but it is very cool looking.

The boss resists slash, fire and lightning the most so use a strong strike weapon or magic and holy

I used watchdog staff +9 and my mimic did too, it is a hard hitting strike weapon as well as hard hitting magic ash or war, fight was over in 20 sec

He still does the AOE lightning attack, but it doesn't hit you for as hard. The tracking lighting damn near one shotted me. I finally killed him with Rot from the stray.

Funny thing about this boss is that he gets stuck in the corner by the gold fog door. There is an aoe that he uses that shoots Lightning down on the ground.

For me the aoe lightning and tracking bolt were 50/50 whenever he raised his shield

I beat this guy, but cant enter the city.. says I need more great runes. It was kinda disappointing. I guess it means I need to beat more bosses?

I beat this guy twice on horseback. I decided to try on foot this time. EVERY move he has he on horse he spends so much time running away, it's boring. On foot, I'm dodging every time I hit hits me and kills me. Another GARBAGE fight from this game cause they want to drag out EVERYTHING to make it seem like some epic battle. I'm playing I'm man enough to admit this game is CRAP.
