The record limit was a lot of the reason for going with a Panasonic G85 and GH5 for me. Looking for ways to record while painting without being concerned about starts and stops is huge for me. Looks like the Sony is another great choice!

Added hack on my a6500 to eliminate record limit. No Ibis on a6400 but who needs it for podcasts. Great work Javier.

Except for Panasonic all of them record for ever! Gh5, g85, g7. I did get a USB dummy battery for my a6400, didn’t realize just using the USB port would work too. I did get a bracket to move the microphone to the left of the camera, makes for a nice small package! I’m really liked the Sigma trinity although I only have two, the 16 and the 30. Nice video And great information!

I just upgraded from recording on my phone to the a6400 last week. I ended up going with the Sigma 16mm lens and have been loving the new set up. Do you have any tips you would recommend for settings you changed on your a6400? There are several menus and this is my first real camera, so I have been looking for good guides / info there.

I agree, I am uprading, I spent my budget on audio, because I belive adiio is much much more iportant, not I am upgrading video and geting 3 A6400 with 50 mm f 1.8 glass.. I was on the fence, you convince me completly ... everyarguent on point.
