I have a vivid memory of reading One for My Enemies. I loved it so much that it actually has me terrified to start Masters of Death.

I may not always remember all the details of a story but if I have vibrant and vivid memories of my reading experiences then the book just hit different.

Nothing beats saving a book for a certain type of weather or a certain time of year and then the payoff being exactly what you hoped for when you squirreled it away. (I’m looking at you Night Film during Halloween week.)
