Hey Harvey, amazing tutorial bud! Outstanding really!

Everything works fine for me, I'm just struggling with passing through the RX 5700 XT in my machine. I saw it's supported and I even managed to start the boot process on my PCs monitor by passing through the GPU but then it gets stuck at this line before the boot logo "IPCIConfigurator: :configure kIOPCIEnumerationWait Time is 900"

Anyone had this problem? Google search results on the topic are scarce, and not helpful at all.

Not sure if I had to dump the BIOS too but the lines "apt update" and "apt install gcc git build-essential -y" in the tutorial didn't really work for me. They both give an error, so I couldn't really proceed further.

I'd greatly appreciate any ideas as I'm stuck on this for days now 😥😥

I have a question regarding my Hackintosh build and see if I can run both Win OS and Mac OS on the same machine with the hardware I have using Proxmox
Windows I want to use for gaming and Mac OS I want for office productivity, video and audio editing

Hi mate, can you use it without a dgpu passthrough? I know its laggy and unusable for video work and general use, but perhaps it can be usable for audio work? If so, can you use any hardware such as laptop, mini pc, amd, intel, etc.? Or even if one doesn't have a dedicated gpu and doesn't use passthrough, there are stability problems for audio work in DAWs? usb soundcard and midi controller to be used so no onboard audio needed. Would this work for fast nvme gen 4 or even gen5 drives? Cheers

Thanks Harvey I'm currently running Monterey and Sonoma using the old way on intel HD 4600 also fixed the black screen issue by some opencore config on device properties.

WoW, I hope you can give me a hand, I have tried several Virtualizers and there is no possibility of connecting the emulated Mac OS to the HDMI connector of my GPU, I have no other HDMI ports other than the GPU one.

Do you have any solution? How can I connect my devices to an emulated Mac OS with HDMI ?

Can I log in using my apple ID? I want to start iOS development but I don't own a Mac. I have a Ryzen 5500u with 16 GB of Ram and literally no GPU (only what comes with the laptop)

hello Harvey, great video, i have to say, i am now inspired to try using proxmox once again, last time i failed to get proper GPU passthrough because my GTX 1660 is incompatible as i unfurtunately found out after a few days later of grinding and checking every single step after step, so yeah nah i was quite discouraged after that . my question is, tho it might be unrelated to the video, would you know if the new amd 7000 series GPUs are compatible with proxmox ? will i be able to get the proper GPU passtrough with say a 7600 xt ? or should i just get the previous 6600 xt ? thank you kindly harvey and have a good day

Can you do a bit about setting up printers in proxmox/hackintosh? At the moment I have my USB connected to my router and printing is to an IP. It did require some definition in my hackintosh using CUPS. My printer does not have native Linux driver (if that matters). I can of course connect it directly to my hackintosh but this is the way I'm sharing the printer in the house - via the USB port on my Asus router. Thx!

Hello Harvey i have been looking at your tutorial for a long time and its very helpful. However I don't have any desktop but I have a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with Ryzen 7 5800H. I tried your method but the macos gets stuck at boot loop. I know you previously said "No laptop question" but is there any guide for me to look at or resource where I can get this working for my Laptop? Thank you very much again.
