This tutorial demonstrates how to use the create merged toolpath feature. This allows us to combine toolpaths that use the same tool in a number of different ways, it may be we want to shave off time to complete machining or we may want to machine the job on a by part basis so we can then remove the parts as they are cut without waiting for all the toolpaths to complete.

For me this has been the MOST important video of all to date! It has shown me that I was off to a wrong start! I was thinking like drawing a picture, and NOT having my individual items (within the picture) set as various LEVELS within the work! This is very important to grasp for the Newbie (who also lives in the middle of No Where, and has no one to reach out for assistance!).

I now must erase all that I have taught myself to date and re-teach myself to work in LAYERS!

Thank you so very kindly, Vectric!

Did you know that if you're a bit tired and you cross your eyes a bit, the video of the arrays becomes like puzzle for 3d like images??!!?? I know it's dumb but I had to share that lol. Still a great video...but when it's in array mode and blue...try it out haha. (11:10-13:05 ish)

What version of software is this? I have V-Carve Desktop 8.5 and it does not have this feature. I found this video trying to figure out how to do this. I know Desktop 8.5 does not do this, so what version is this?

Please be a bit more careful not to zoom through the use of the mouse and entering and exiting layers or features as beginners like myself struggle to keep up and integrate new with previously learned items. Thank you!
