It's funny how Nvidia managed to bring Titan cards into the mainstream by effectively rebranding it as a xx90 class card. A Titan is something most of us easily dismissed as excessive years ago, and we had little sense of fomo passing up on it. The 5090 is a Titan card in all but name, guys. Don't sell your kidneys to get one.

8 GB has already been tested to cause a significant drop in 1% low performance at 1080p in Final Fantasy XVI and causing texture pop. It is a bad choice to buy an 8 GB card in 2025, regardless of speed.... Intel ARC B580 just realised with 12GB, is faster than 4060 and cost peanuts.

Sadly, I gave up on Nvidia after using their cards exclusively since the Riva TNT2 Pro in 2000. I've had enough with their gatekeeping VRAM and pricing shenanigans.

I'm not excited about the 50 Series. Like the low-end and midrange 40 Series graphics cards, the low-end and midrange 50 Series are going to be hardware gimped and overpriced. Nvidia GPUs are nothing but overpriced crap at this point. Even the high-end graphics cards look gimped for this upcoming generation. The only one that doesn't look hardware gimped is the RTX 5090.

I don't care about the 90 class cards anymore, since I will never, ever own one. In fact, I just refuse to watch videos that specifically focus on Nvidia's 90 class cards. If videos are CPU reviews using 4090 is one thing, but the performance of the 4090 or 5090 to me is so what? These cards (now including the 80 class) is so far out of my budget that it is laughable. The only cards (since the 1080ti) is 60 and 70 class cards and I have one of each-neither is a 4000 series card. Point in fact, I am more interested in Battlemage than Nvidia's 90 or even 80 class as I can still afford a Battlemage card at $249-280.
