📖OPEN BOOK STRETCH😮💨
Do you this stretch to open up your mid-back? It’s a great move, but you may be doing it wrong!
Try this simple variation to take it to the next level!
The issue with the mainstream version of this stretch is that most people cheat when opening up to touch the ground behind them. They just end up moving through their shoulder and not their thoracic spine.
Well, instead of reaching with your arm, keep your hand on your chest when you “open the book” so you can maximize that rotation through the thoracic spine.
Also, take it up a notch by channeling your inner zen and JUST BREATHE! Take a breath out as you rotate so you can go further into that rotation range! 🫁
