For me the one of best feature was in credits thats show your whole journey through gyms and pokemons you used

makes me want to write a super serious pokemon story where the hardcore main character catches all the legends but lets them continue to be important natural forces.

My headcanon was always just that the other dimension(s) Hoopa pulled the legendaries from were ones that were already beginning to collapse or be destroyed in some way. Then when Gen 7 came around I headcannoned it as the timelines without Megas and/or the ones that got ravaged by UBs to the point of it becoming uninhabitable.

As a kid I had no idea that the legendaries had requirements, I got all of them in my alpha sapphire and all of them in a rented copy of omega ruby I had for a week

As someone who grew up on Gen 2 and 3, soaring around Hoenn on Latias in Omega Ruby made me smile in a way I hadn't since I was a kid. Even without the random encounters, just seeing this region I had grown up with rendered explorable via flight was like giving a Christmas present to my inner child again.

Dare I say, it was worth it just for that.

I already said this in another video, but the non-Hoenn exclusive Pokemons are not just locked to the Mirage Islands. Specifically, by using the Dex Nav after catching either of the two legendaries, you can meet a lot more of those Pokemons around Hoenn. For example, you can get Kakuna in the Safari Zone if you want Mega Beedrill, or Gible in Route 111's desert.

As someone who couldn’t care less about the Battle Frontier, I can honestly say these games are up there with the best in the franchise. All the nostalgia, story and region from Gen 3 but the quality of life features up to Gen 6 and adding megas and soaring.

ORAS is probably my favorite pokemon game I think it has so much charm and they are so much fun and do so much for redesigning the characters.
