The K-Ball problem is a huge deal, these mudded balls are ruining the game for Kickers and punters and putting out a bad product.

So a cold wet football can lose lose air pressure and seem to be under inflated? Who knew?

I think they should expand the field to 68 teams with a four game play in.

I was shooting photos at the ND v. IU game... one punt I witnessed stopped dead as soon as it hit the ground; no bounce, no roll, no movement. In fact, I was so surprised, I turned to a fotog next to me and said "that looked like it hit brick wall".

I really liked the part when Isaac did a face reveal then rubbed peanutbutter all over himself.

Thing is, when you have a playoff, (that is a real playoff and not just a semifinal), it's normal for some games to be lopsided, especially in the first round. Because the point of the first round is to separate the contenders from the pretenders, so that by the time you get to the semifinal, you have the best teams playing. Besides, what you have to realize is teams change and people get hurt. The team that wins it all in most seasons will probably be whichever team has the best bench and the best chemistry.

WILD. I was a kicker in college, for a no name team, and I was super confused because I was excited to watch a couple of these kickers because they’re awesome and I was just left dumbfounded. I was yelling at my TV at one point “it’s the ball! It’s the ball!” 😅😅😂😂

I'm old enough to remember Oregon 59, Florida State 20;
Alabama 38, Michigan State 0;
Clemson 31, Ohio State 0;
Clemson 30, Notre Dame 3;
LSU 63, Oklahoma 28. Those were playoff semis, with brand names getting smoked. Don't act like is the first time we've seen playoff blowouts.

12 team playoff is fine LMAO. Tennessee beat Alabama who people are mad now that they weren't in.. and they got blown out. Those teams just shouldn't lose.
There can be some tweaks, sure.. but the playoffs were fine. Come on. At this point everyone just wants SEC in. If Alabama and Ole Miss were 'contenders', they should not have lost to those teams..
And I am a fan of a brand name with a terrible season.

ANYWAYS, i agree.. seperate balls for punter/kicker, maybe.

Finally, a video showing why kickers should have their own ball for a game. As a kicker myself, the ball is really important.

There’s blow outs in the first round of the NFL playoffs as well. It’s not the end of the world.

I like the 12-team playoff. 🤷 Yes, we got a lot of blowouts this year but just like March Madness we WILL get underdog Cinderella stories going forward. They won't happen every year of course, but they absolutely WILL HAPPEN!!!

Have touchdown scorers kick their own extra point, or take the snap for a 2-point conversion. That would be fun.

F why are we upset they are finally using the same ball that everyone else plays with?!? We gotta stop cooking the books with "k balls", mudding or changes in pressure . They've been slowly inflating stats and now they got exposed on how much ball conditioning impacts the game. The game needs to move to a MLB style and have the official manage the balls for both teams. No mudding, no inflating/ deflating or messing with it in general. Each team and each player should have the same ball, and the only reason it should be swapped out is due to a defect.

Notre Dame fan here, Mitch Jeter tore his groin earlier this year and he has not really been the same since. Our punter from Australia hasn’t really panned out, not sure why Freeman drove Bryce out last year as he had a good season after entering the portal.

There has never been a time, where anyone in their right mind would think the 12th ranked team, was good enough to win the Natty. There is generally no more than about 6 that are good enough to win it all. 12 is way too many.

0:17 I agree but they’ll go to a 16-team playoff long before they ever consider cutting it down to 8

There’s entirely way too much money to be made off of the extra games, quality of football be damned

I was a punter at IU in the early 90’s (I know…100 years ago) and watched in disgust at how bad the kicking game was in week one, particularly the punters. Then I watched this video and it was so obvious I felt like a total Babaluke for not thinking of it. You’re spot on. Anyone who has tried to kick barely broken in footballs will tell you, and mix in really cold weather on top of it. Makes sense. CFP needs to make an adjustment. Great insight and 100% accurate in my opinion.

Clemson just doessnt have a notable kicker or punter. True freshman out there doing his best

As a specialist i really appreciate you bringing awareness to this haha! All of them were given new balls with 2 days to try to break them in and as you can see… that was not enough time.

Your insane dedication to kicking and punting detail is impressive haha

Meh, teams were getting blown out all the time in the 4 team playoff. I like the 12 teams because we at least know that none of the contenders are missing.
