This is lame but i have to tell this as a diehard ND fan. Im 42 and have 2 older brothers and weve watched every game together for the last 20 years. This is the biggest victory of all of our adult lives!!! Unfortunately my oldest brother died from a brain tumor 2 months ago so didn't get to see this. Me and my other brother cried a lot knowing ND finally got a true win amd our brother missed it. Sports go so much deeper than the game. Thank you Georgia for a wonderful game. Im sure my brother is looking down fondly. Taking a 6 pack to his grave tomorrow and drinking a few and telling him about the game 😊

penn state fan who grew up during the 80's
Penn state and notre dame had a rivalry back then and played annually. The game usually had national title implications.

For nostalgia purposes I'm glad they're meeting again in a big game

Riley Leonard had 88 yards passing and still had a great game. Also, it felt like that kick return ended the game early.

First New Year’s Six bowl win since the 1993 Cotton Bowl and first Sugar Bowl win since 1991 for the Irish. Next week against Penn State in the Orange Bowl will be good.
