Year 10 Lesson 6 Forming and solving linear equations
Показать описание
What does maths have to do with the stage for a concert or arena for a sports fixture?
In this lesson from our Pearson Edexcel Maths qualifications team and LGfL (London Grid for Learning), we’ll explore how forming and solving linear inequalities will help you make sure your set is not too large for the arena at your large-scale event.
You’ll need some some paper, something to write with and a calculator to help you make the most of this lesson.
Everyone studying GCSE-level maths is welcome to join our lessons to build their skills and continue their learning, whether you’re taking the course at school, college or remotely, and regardless of exam board.
The sessions are described as ‘Year 10’ or ‘Year 11’ just to highlight that they’re for different stages of learning – whether you’re partway through the course or close to completing it. As such, anyone in Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11 can find this helpful for their maths studies.
Note: a subtitled version of this lesson will be available after the live lesson has finished.
