I'm surprised it wasn't more. It shocked me that someone in the medical field tried to give someone CPR on a soft surface like a bed and not a firm surface, I thought that was known knowledge!!

I think a man like this will most likely commit suicide when he gets into jail if he gets 20 years. Its all bad on both sides at least he didn't get murder in the 1st degree.. i think he snapped and I probably would by hearing her her antics and how she took everything he worked for... she was terrible.

I think his decision to take the stand definitely worked in his favor for the lesser charge.

The reading of the verdict seemed so complicated compared to some of the others I've seen. Seriously...get a divorce people! Spending the rest of your life (or some years in this case) in jail is not worth it!

Thats insane you can strangle someone and its voluntary manslaughter !!! Thats murder it take time to do that to someone i could see if she hit him and he hit her back and accidently unalived her but to do that to someone and call it an accident or whatever he called it he snapped like wow

I think it was an appropriate verdict. She was a scheming grifter. He lost it. Listen to her awful friend on the stand, to get a taste..

How? He put her decease, Body into a lake. That in itself he should get the maximum penalty. If he was blk he would have gotten life. There is a 2 tier system justice system in the USA. One for YT and one for blk people. Yt people always get more lenient punishment than blks.
