Egyptian fact: there are two prices at the pyramids, local price and tourists price. If I'm buying this as an Egyptian I would pay like 5 pounds which is equivalent to the value of 1.5 dollar in your currency(I value the 5 pounds the same as you value a dollar and 50 cents) The seller's profit is from this currency difference. Know the average price and don't haggle too much because people like this seller really need those moments when they find a tourist who would easly give them extra 1 dollar and make profit from it. At the same time don't let them scam you, okay they can take one extra dollar but not 5$ or some unreasonable amount for a magnet😂

I’m an Egyptian and I’m against what you did with them, these people are kinda poor doesn’t earn much, they pay rents for staying at that place handling hot weather and he didn’t scammed you for the beginning he doesn’t put high prices, , and when I go there as a local person they do say the same prices and I don’t haggle with them because if I went to buy the same thing in a shop or a mall I wouldn’t dare to haggle ! .. so please don’t do that again in any country not only Egypt specially when you make sure they are not scammers and when they look simple people.. Also I think all countries affected by the economic situation specially on poor class also middle class !
