Mines the opposite when ever I have a need and struggle with anything my partner thinks I shouldn't struggle with I'm met with hostility and anger and frustration so I just do everything myself even if I struggle

Love your content. Very mature and helpful perspectives in general and in this video in particular (I am 51… 😉)

I noticed huge fallacy in many teaching/conditioning/forcing many to practice a martyr mentality (mothers infamous for) which creates all sorts of havoc in ALL lives we touch = standing in our true power by choosing to live authentically means LEARN TO LOVE/RESPECT URSELF FIRST =THEN U WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS/FEELS LIKE...cannot pour/share from an empty cup eh 😮😢🎉😅❤

I'm 55 now but when young people were always trying to manage my life. I'm autistic and meek and attract narcissists and bullies. Infantalizing someone is a classic manipulation tactic.

That's a kind of violence in the couple.... 😢

PDA and infantilization in a relationship—platonic, romantic, or familial happens way too often to people who are neurodivergent.

Not everyone can do a trade like me because of the limitations of our disabilities like for me is I have fine motor skill issues in both of m hands and I also have low muscle tone that makes lifting heavy things very difficult and/or impossible in some situations.

It sounds like they're trying to change your life by wanting to manage yours. People have tried to change my life before and I haven't allowed it to happen. I have the A-condition and I am an anxiety and a depression sufferer
