People and the DALES

People and the DALES -- Diversity, Access, Learning, Environment, Sustainability -
is a community outreach project run by YDMT. The project enables disadvantaged groups from urban areas to the South of the Yorkshire Dales (Bradford, Leeds, Blackburn with Darwen) to take part in a wide range of fun, active and thought provoking activities in the countryside. With the aim providing people wih the knowldege skills and confidence to retuen for themselves whilst also improving health and well being. The project was funded through Big Lottery's Access to Nature progreamme. Find out more about our work at www.YDMT.org
