In this video, i am going to play the GDF Mission - Hornets’ Nest Mission in the new Tempest Rising DEMO.

GDF Mission - Hornets’ Nest
A GDF base is under attack. You will be commanding the reinforcements. Reach and recapture the base before it falls. Once harvesting operations are back online, protect your Harvesters as they gather the remaining Tempest. The Dynasty are establishing bases in GDF-held zones to take our Tempest. They are to be denied.

This mission introduces the Riot Van vehicle, the Engineer infantry unit, and the Support Beacon (a GDF Support Power).

Command distinct factions in a desperate struggle for power and resources in Tempest Rising - a classic RTS set on Earth after a nuclear war.

I don’t like the vehicle movements. It’s janky and unrealistic. I think C&C Generals nailed that part. Vehicles were making realistic movements and not making 360 suddenly. Tiny details in that game made it popular.

Oh I sure hope that this game could see daylight. After the cancellation of Command & Conquer: Generals 2, this seems to be the only candidate that can live up to the classic RTS expectation and is worthy of being the successor to the C&C franchise. I hope the don't f* it up.

I hope the dev continue this fast/over the top and brutal gameplay. A a CnC fan, I don't give two shit about realistic collision, realistic graphic or slow ass game. Also no need for formation also.

One thing that I need to point out is that in both demo, the map to too damn linear and not enough spaces for a huge army. Also please i wanna see limited resource that push you to do base crawl and expand. Still the demo is campaign so the map are acceptably linear.

Just wanted to point out you forgot to equip your purchased perks from the Armory in the slots after the briefing from those 2 in beginning. Cannot wait for this game to come out.

Thanks for the video🎉! I'm looking forward to it too, but there are three things that still bother me:
1. Not enough zoom out
2. The camera needs to be able to rotate completely without any steps in this day
3. So far, the collision detection is weak. Vehicles form piles of metal and soldiers walk through vehicles.
I hope that will be changed by the final version, the fans are waiting for a worthy C&C "successor" 😊
