About the Demo

Classic RTS action meets modern production and performance in Tempest Rising. Inspired by RTS greats of the 90s and 2000s, Tempest Rising is a classic, base-building real time strategy game set in a modern day alternative history war scenario. It features 3 unique factions, each with its own approach to combat and economy and offering a variety of strategies for players of all stripes, maps with neutral structures to contest and neutral populations to contend with, deep and rewarding gameplay that keeps a focus on strategy while rewarding skill.

Experience the first mission of two playable factions, the Global Defense Force and the Tempest Dynasty in the brand new demo.

GDF FEATURES

- GDF-exclusive playable unit types, including the Drone Operator and the Sentinel Scout Car
- Six enemy types
- The GDF’s unique blend of base building and intel management
- Classic gameplay elements, such as explosive barrels!

DYNASTY FEATURES

- DYN-exclusive playable unit types, including the Missile Trooper and the Rocket Buggy
- A taste of the side objectives that will be available in the full campaign
- Destroy or repair pieces of your environment, such as bridges
- The ability to steal enemy buildings with the Technician unit

OMG. Just played the dynasty demo and loved it so much. It definitely gave me the good old feeling of CNC red faction which is my favorite. (Russia, NOD)
I'm buying the game at release and will porbably go into a cave to finish the campaign. I hope there is a brutal difficulty as the challenge is what drives me to keep playing for years to come.

Dynasty looks amazing! I mean they look mash up version of Nod and Soviets! which was early era Westwood's plan before EA bought them.... I just love it!! can't wait for the full game!!

Would be a gamechanger if they could add a strategic zoom option where you can zoom out far far further. Makes all the difference. Big maps, big zoom for big wars. That's the ticket! Love that they've made this RTS.

can we just take a moment and be thankful to the devs for releasing a demo in 2023 lol. so refreshing to just be able to try a game out before its released it and not be a stupid earlyA game that wont be out for 3 years or more lol

funny how they can tease units before officially bringing them up and due to sheer action it can go unnoticed (the "Tempest Ball" they showcased recently is visible charging to rol over some GDFs around 0:50)
