Real Title: Trying to defend my CPU but I fail

I know a lot of people are complaining about this total war game but I feel like it’s trying to do something a bit special with people who don’t play total war. I think the cartoony graphics are meant to catch the eye of certain people who haven’t seen the dull shades but epic shades of red on the ground and blue in the sky of the other total war games. I think the whole hero mechanic as well as getting rid of a certain battle tactics are meant to once again draw in the people who haven’t exactly been exposed to total war yet. It’ll be an easier and much more bright game for them and maybe those people will come to play other games like rome or medieval ii. But, i don’t know. It could just be a bad game and maybe whatever the heck I’m saying is just trash.

Why do arrows have low velocities and ridiculous amount of trail effects?
Why are there no flags and they are instead replaced with large mobile game style icons and health bars?
Why do horses slide on dirt floors?
Why do units do ridiculous move sets that look more like a dance than fighting?
Why does combat feel so static, where no pushing or shoving is happening when a large force attacks a smaller one?
