A huge congratulations on the release of this game. It is the first historical title to win me over since Warhammer, and I think it could become a surprise classic for the franchise. The fact that I got it for free is just out of this world cool!

The Heir of Troy mechanic really needs to made take longer or just be harder as it can ruin you in the early to mid game. Playing as Hector I reached it on turn 32 without really trying and after instantly annexing Troy and Paris's lands and armies, I was bankrupted on food. Even playing very with very high resource productivity management wasn't a match for that instant -38k food per turn and even dismissing their armies and agents only got that down to -14k per turn. -8k on Bronze as well

I played as Hector and man was it a enjoyable campaign. After Napolean, this by far my favourite Total War.

I have some ideas for further playable characters.
For the Trojans:
Memnon and the Ethiopians.
Penthesilea and the Amazons.
Rhesus and the Thracians.
For the Greeks:
Diomedes and the Argives.
Ajax and the Telamites.
Nestor of the Pylians.

In my game as Sarpedon, Menelaus and Agamemnon ignores Troy and invades me instead, like my place in the map is Troy.
