How to Setup Preferred Items Slots for Inventory Weapons or Items in Fortnite OG (Slots 1 to 5)

To set up preferred item slots in Fortnite, follow these steps:

Launch Fortnite and go to the main lobby screen.
Navigate to the settings menu by clicking on the cog icon.
Scroll down and click on “Configure” next to “Preferred Item Slots”.
Assign weapons or items to each loadout slot.
Press “Assign” before leaving settings.

Once you have chosen your preferred item slots, every weapon or item you pick up will be assigned to the correct slot until you have a full inventory

I cant find about half the settings I used to in the new season. I cannot find "auto open doors" or mantle activation or the preferred item slots. It's like they disappeared

You know. I did this a while back and now I can't find the setting anywhere. It's not on my menu where you show it. So annoying.

Mines doesn’t put the items in the spot I wanted them.. & when I try resetting it when I select to turn the setting ON/OFF it moves me to “Language & Region”

They completely removed the preferred item slots button 😑
