Yea dude. Using his body that was said multiple times to be the strongest and has unlimited potential makes sense for zamasu. Putting him as the antagonist in a future trunks story also makes the conflict more personal for both goku and trunks and would also let vegeta finally shut up about goku

I like to imagine Zamasu sees the mystic form as just being inherently superior to any of the SSJ forms, because it technically originated from a Kai. If anything he probably views it as a “divine” form

This was the *PERFECT* moment to let Gohan turn Beast mode. It makes more sense than seeing Piccolo getting beaten senseless. His own flesh and blood were wiped out by a smug god that stole his body... *THAT* would unleash the Beast within.

If they actually had Beast Gohan at launch, they could've easily included that. But no, it's just his Ultimate form powered up by anger.
