I was in a 2014 Nissan Rogue driving for Uber. Yes it was icy but at the same time know your limits. I was out for 3 hours didn't see one plow. Got my riders where the wanted to go and me and my car gratefully made it home safe.

Just love it when that brake pedal dances under your foot as you press harder and harder and slide farther and farther into the intersection

My favorite part of all this is that not to many people seem to know what the freak there’re doing. But, EVERYONE is in a hurry to do it. Lol..

The roads were warm, the temps dropped fast and it dumped lots of snow quickly. Everything turned to ice. I left work early to beat the worst of it.
South Springs was fine, everything north of Interquest was a mess. I don't blame the plows, they didn't have a chance it was too quick. Please
get some winter tires ya'll. And drive like you want to arrive somewhere alive, not fast.

Driving on ice, no one can say they are the best. There is no such thing as the best car on black ice.

This was the day I arrived from Florida, and let me tell you you Colorado people have some balls. Driving around those turns/mountains/drops with no guardrails in the snow 😬😬😬

You know you’re wrong when people have better traction in their boots, than you have in your car.

Obviously, things haven't changed in this town in 50 years.

I see a lot of comments about snow tires and I get it, they are helpful in snow. But this is our second snow storm of the season. It makes no sense to put snow tires on your car when we get a night of snow in a month and the rest of the time the roads are bone dry. Regular asphalt tears up snow tires quickly.

That's ridiculous how slippery that is but I believe it. I've been unable to get traction before with AWD and snow tires, worst vehicle for the snow has to be the RWD trucks, no weight at all over the tires.

What we get alot of in Colorado is “White Outs”! Blizzards with extremely high winds, you can’t see the road, all you see is white. In March 2017 we got a cyclone bomb a blizzard with 100 mph winds.

Too many people with summer tires thinking they can "get by"

Hahahah this is the side of Colorado springs where all the people that moved from California are now living and have completely gentrified it, this is why they can't handle an inch of snow. I live about 3, 300 feet above the spring's and I still can live my life by driving up and down a snow covered canyon road...I swear no knows how to drive or even went to the proper driving school before they got behind the wheel.

My brother and I drove up to Cripple Creek during this storm. It was awesome. It was far worse in town than up in the mountains. No, we didn't hit the jackpot... but it was fun.

I had no problems driving in the snow. It's bad up north every snow. Especially interquest, spectrom loop, etc. Wasn't like this everywhere
