Biden: 'Silence is complicity'

President Biden speaks at an event with Jewish community leaders. Biden calling the Hamas terror attack “a campaign of cruelty against the Jewish people” and “the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust.” Biden drew applause saying “Silence is complicity…and I refuse to be silent.”

The President also saying they are “working on every aspect of the hostage crisis” adding he has ”not given up hope of bringing these folks home.”

He expressed his commitment to combating anti-Semitism and announced he was working with the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice to "identify, prevent and disrupt emerging threats."
