Well back to where it all started I had linked up with YouTuber @jimmy_prymal several weeks earlier to see if I could put him onto a tuna from the drone. Upon arrival we started scouting the ocean for any signs of life the @lxdsunglasses are perfect for cutting through the ocean glare and spotting the slightest break of the surface giving us some indication we should have a closer look with the drone. This is when we put the drone to action and get the #advantageabove the rest, now with the drone above the target area I noticed we had found three solid tuna no time to waste I flew back in to attach our @tweedbait_official pilchard to the @sea_ulcer sky rigger attachment and quickly fly back out to where the fish are. Just like clockwork I set the bait right in front of the tuna, one inhales the pilchard but unfortunately we didn’t manage to stick the hook set.
Several hours later We had seen some really solid bust ups and i said they have to be tuna and quickly flew down to scope it out. From 90 mtrs high what I thought was a solo tuna cruising turned out to be a juvenile marlin just a couple hundred metres off the beach so well within range for us, to say the excitement levels went through the roof would be an understatement.
We had a good shot at trying to pitch a bait to this fella but unfortunately it was not meant to be just as it was coming into range and I was preparing to make the dash back with the drone to get a bait on it a dolphin came out of no where and started hustling the marlin seeming to force it off the beach and out wide. Even though we didn’t get our fish today we walked off the beach happy as pigs🐖 in 💩”
