Just my 2 cent:
Since today's life evolved around social media, my advice is to not over sharing your marriage life or anything, hold your nafs to want to brag about every little things that is happening to you and your spouse ..

Even better if you are willing to delete your social media accounts of which you've had when you were single, now you are married make a new one
simply use it to stay in touch with families or friends who live abroad .
Your marriage is a new chapter of your life.

And You know the jealous eyes is real, and the whispers of Satan once you are complaining on social media about any unhappiness you feel about your marriage that is detrimental not only for you but to your in-laws..

The point of marriage is Sakeenah ie serenity within ourself and mutual compassion and respect. With or without marriage, we have to strive to be closer to Allah SWT. You are trying to tell something but it hasnt come out well.

so if marriage doesn't bring you close to Allah and rather pushes you away from Allah, you shouldn't get married then?🤔

I am a newer revert so if I’m wrong please correct me but I was under the impression Allah swt made into pairs so that we may find peace. I’m sure there is someone who will debate you can have peace and be unhappy and ect. However if being unhappy without getting a solution-even after trying-takes away your peace then should we still suffer or should we leave ? answers solely based on Quran and hadiths please and not culture or other biases. Thank you so much.

Before my brothers decided to marry, my mom had there all 3 meals ready for them on the table the home cleaned there clothes washed
Thanks to peer pressure and social media norms one brother decided to marry a “Christian” by name women
He thought his wife would have the same values morals nd character like mommy dearest, he is learning the very hard way no food on the table, home dirty he has to help with the house chores

Grown man having a tantrum why his wife doesn’t obey him like his mom did
This is the result of choosing social media influences aka modernism against religious practices

Marriage, according to Islam, is growth, your right. That is why Mohammad had multiple wives and allowed Muslims to have many wives and to engage in temporary marriage "moutah."
Marriage won't make you close to Allah. Here in Mauritania, 95% is Muslim, but cheating, divorce, and violence is too high in Muslim families.
But, my Muslim immigrants should respect the way of marriage in Christian countries, which are accepting a lot of Muslims in their nations, like Australia, Europe, Canada, and America.
The real marriage is the marriage that the Holy Bible is teaching us mankind. Loving spouse like Jesus Christ loves the church.
