It is cool to hear that you love this zoo as we often visit this area and have yet to visit it. It looks huge and I love that there is a boat trip too. So will have to pop it on the list for next time.

Just came back from Chester Zoo today. Wasn't impressed with the amount of space provided for the animals. Suffice it to say that it was incredibly little per animal. The animals looked depressed, lonely and bored. Will not be going back. It's more like a children's park than a zoo. The only highlight was the food from the pub. Everything else was rubbish. Junk food, no accurate navigation signs, narrow paths and no platforms to view the animals - everyone had to compete for what little window space or fence space there was. Animals didn't looked very well cared for. Children obviously are too ignorant to know any better but as an adult who loves animas, this place was a total negative experience (apart from the fish and chips).
