Been saying this for 2 years now. Makes zero sense to chase the Pro Card in the ACL. For what? Status? Spend thousand and thousands to get your card cause of traveling expenses, to finish in top 20 and make 150.00? Way more money in local scoreholio tournaments and frankly the competition is so good now you dont have to travel as much anymore

Plus there needs to be bag clash rule. Watching the broadcast - often the bags are so similar, I can’t tell who’s bags were who

Darn right!!! They should definitely make a better effort to define what bags are being used. Obviously the skill level of the pros is different than our mere mortal levels, but im sure the bag also makes a difference. At least we can see what each bag is capable of doing in an actual game. The commentator from the ACL said that if the bag makers would pay them or sponsor them they’ll mention what bags the players are throwing. In a couple 😂last seasons YouTube tournaments

Wow. I had no idea how low the payouts were for those events. That is crazy. How do you make money playing if you have to pay for plane tickets etc? No offense etc to those guys or the ACL I just figured it would be 3-5k for first.

It's strange you would say that the ACL doesn't mention what bags the palyers/teams are throwing before each match!
I will respectfully disagree with that. I watch all the ACL Open livestreams, either on YouTube or ESPN+... Wally & Meesh, Wally & Jake. or Jake & Meesh, all three commentating pairings, before the game starts, mention the bag manufacturer and the series of bags each player/team is throwing.

The ACL should allow winners/runners up from any Elite & advanced majors to play in Pro majors

Players should have jerseys or hats telling what bags they are throwing.
Heck hold up a sign during a time out during live broadcast.
The commentators are either, lazy or just don't think about it because it's not important to them.
Maybe they're told not to promote a bag since they aren't paying for a plug.
I'd donate money to the ACL if they could just get the board switches done in a timely manner. Ongoing problem. Lol
It's obvious to most of us that they aren't even watching some matches.
they are talking about other things, or other players, on the internet watching a different sporting event like football.
Facts.
This will probably offend some. However, staying on point is important to some of us.

Hey Mike, I love your videos and everything you’re doing. Thanks so much for continuing to do these podcast. I was watching where you were talking about commentators on the ACL side and how they don’t say which bags are being thrown. I think it was yesterday that I was watching a recap of the open. They actually did an over under about if there would be 11 different bag companies bags that would be thrown and so they would announce on the live feed, which company’s bags were being thrown. I wanted to let you know I saw that. Now those recaps are like four hours long so it would have been hard to catch that but I wanted to let you know that. Keep doing what you’re doing, man. I love it and I appreciate it and I love to watch the videos. Thank you so much.

Yo Mike! I agree that the ACL live stream could do a better job of CONSISTENTLY giving bag info. I do remember when I started watching the ACL broadcasts on TV a few years ago, Trey did a good job about talking about bags at the start of each game. If they do that now, it seems more of an afterthought than intentional. While it seems like a small thing, I agree with you though, it can help us make a decision on what bag we might want to throw next. Keep up the good work and Happy Thanksgiving!
