Revealing the NEW 2024 Youtube Play Buttons! Fore the first time since 2018, the silver, gold & diamond awards have all recieved design updates with new smaller sizes. As someone who just hit 100k subs a few days ago, I feel very disappointed with these new play button sizes. I think you should at least be able to choose which size you want, pay extra for the larger old size or just get the small one for free

I just don't like that my gold plaque will be the same size as the silver, I did pick up an icon award tho those are pretty cool.

i think that they shouldn’t have made the gold play button smaller. not that many people are hitting 1M and even if it is more than usual, they are making youtube a LOT of money

I don’t necessarily think people will so easily adjust to this for sliver playbuttons, but gold probably. YouTube has been making bad moves recently

the old playbutton design doesn't look expensive to produce, them making them smaller was purely just to cut costs

Each playbutton redesign after the first 2 has been a bigger and bigger downgrade from the previous

Over time, the YouTube play buttons may become less significant as more creators begin to reward themselves with custom-made versions—and some already are. With YouTube cutting costs in various areas, I decided to create a custom play button for my faceless channel to celebrate reaching 1 million subscribers. I have to admit, though, I’m disappointed with the size change that they did. 😩
