40 years later, and John's voice hasn't changed.

Toyota's working on pricing themselves right out of the market.

“Turbo 4 working hard” That’s why I love the 4.0 V6 in my 4Runner. It never feels like it’s breaking a sweat commuting or pulling my 14’ trailer with ATV’s on it.

As a decades-long Toyota loyalist, I bought a new 2022 Nissan Frontier. Toyota ruined its truck line with crappy turbo engines, hollow build quality, cartoonish bro-dozer styling, and insane pricing. The Frontier has a naturally aspirated V6, rock-solid build quality, conservative yet handsome styling, and reasonable pricing. My loaded Frontier SV long wheel base was $39K OTD. Almost 2 years in and the Frontier has been flawless.

Let me make sure I understand. Toyota moves production of their Tacoma pickups to Mexico to "improve efficiency and cut costs", and THE PRICE OF THE TRUCK SKYROCKETED!!
Yea....that makes perfect sense....

Looks like The Taco ate a few burritos.

I'll keep my 2015 with 175k on it. Still runs like the day I bought it.

I live in the UK and we don't get a lot of the vehicles reviewed here but it's still one of my favourite channels and John is a legend. Love your work Sir !

I saw one recently and couldn’t stop looking at the massive lower Ford style front air deflector.

Trucks are way to expensive now. Priced me out of the market.

This is the only place I've seen 6.2 seconds to 60. Maybe they meant 7.2

Love it. Gonna get the limited hybrid fulltime 4wd with adaptive suspension. Most similar setup to my gx460 but in a truck. But only when my kids are in forward facing seats

I prefer the more base level tricks, a 24 base probably has more features than a top of the line trim 20 years ago. I have a 2003 and 2004 vehicle.

According to Motorweeks testing on this Tacoma, I had no idea I was supposed to be searching for a sports car driving experience in a pick up truck

The rear suspension of this test truck are coils springs why did you say it had leaf springs?? You can see the solid links holding the rear axle instead of leaf springs...
