I find this piece and others like it great for those who have a nice thick leather riding jacket that doesn't have any type of armor option . You can purchase this hoodie and give your favorite leather an added bounce factor.

I would think these would be cool for light trail riding, not worried about a slide, but gives some comfortable protection for bumps and slow speed falls.
