Just got rid of my 23y/o Altima because after fixing a cracked head, it still leaked oil that I was refilling every other day. I traded it in for a new 2022 Ford Escape. 3months after getting my brand new vehicle, not even 2000miles on it…it needs a whole new engine because coolant was leaking into the engine. Brand spanking new vehicle that costs me $40k needs a whole new engine. I just paid the first note on it last month, and I’m still driving a loaner. I would’ve just asked for my Altima back because if I was going to have these issue anyways, why pay a note…but they sold my 23 y/o Altima…with an oil leak and over 250k miles. Betcha who ever has it now will continue to drive it longer than my new car will run before it will need another repair after I get it back.

Lmao I've worked on my son's 2011 changed the head gasket, rewired the plugs, installed new motor mounts, serpentine belt& wheel, radiator, full AC unit, both idiol arms, sway bar links, rotors. Then maintenance like brake pads, oil changes, new tires ect. My son has learned to change the oil and tires now that he's 25yrs old. Lol body is beat to hell but runs like new with 200k miles BECAUSE it's practically new under the hood! 😂

Got my 2005 Altima up to 120 going upgrade while racing a Mustang. That was 10 years ago and I’m no longer crazy like that. I doubt if it could ever hit 120 again. My baby got old like me.
