In this video, we will explore the amazing discovery of the oldest black hole ever observed, located in the galaxy GN-Z11, more than 13 billion light-years away from us. This discovery was made by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the most powerful and complex space telescope ever built, which can see the infrared light from the first stars and galaxies in the universe. This discovery is important and exciting because it challenges our current understanding of black hole formation and growth, and it could shed light on the early universe and the reionization era. We will answer the following questions: How did JWST detect the black hole? What does this discovery tell us about the early universe and the reionization era? What are the implications and the future prospects of this discovery? If you are curious and fascinated by the mysteries of the cosmos, then stay tuned and watch this video till the end.

Let's wait a week with the celebration, what if JWST saw an even older one?! 🥂🍾

How long does take for a galaxy to form?

We can now look backwards through time to see some of our ancient past. When will we be able to see our future?

Just imagine - it change its observation angle just by millimeters and see another galaxy. Then calibrate focus - and see something else. It means there are zillions of reachable objects to observe.

We (earthlings) should make another 100 Webb-telescopes instead of weapons or cars. And we will be 100x faster and effective in understanding of Universe

Keep in mind that claims pertaining to measurements of distance or time in cosmology depend on the speed of light remaining constant throughout the life of the universe. In reality, we do not believe the speed of light has remained constant, thus such statements are not scientifically supported. They are just guesswork.

Simply amazing that we can observe further back in time. I wonder will we see with future, advanced, devices the gargantuan explosion which brought our Universe to fruition!

Must mean we beat the light to get here in a race by 13 Billion years, yeah, go Milky Way! We beat it's light, before we were even created to get here.

How are we seeing a black hole, that massive, at nearly the beginning of the universe?

Will a black hole just eat itself? Or will it just collapse on itself?

How can we seriously put a number on how old the universe is It's infinite. What if we're looking at the rug direction with it supposedly started out of some big bank which is just beyond thought. To think that it started all with a big bang

What is the expansion of the universe is faster than the constant for speed of light

It's so old they want to call it a grey hole. It has a bald spot and wrinkles.

I'm quite sure this is not the most ancient black hole that can be discovered and... mysterious?... all black holes are a mystery. The telescope only has discover one more black hole. Please, is not a great new.
