Perfect to build if you're ever stuck out in the woods in winter. All you need is a warm house close by to make it.

"sir, our aircraft carrier melted."

In case of emergency, ensure the emergency happens around a sawmill with a flowing river nearby.

It’s strong. ONLY AT OR BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES. If it’s not at or below freezing, it’s water and sawdust.

Tried making this in Atlanta last summer, just have a pile of sawdust in the back yard now

As someone who loves to study WW2 . Pycreate is so bullet proof that when the inventer demomstrated it to the brass. The bullet bounced off and hit an officer in the leg. No joke.

I’ve been wondering where all my neighborhoods recycle bins have been going. 😂🙃

The fact that the government thought it would possibly be a good idea to build a boat with it just shows you the competence of the government.

Fun fact: when pykrete was debuted to the British government in WWII, it’s strength was displayed by it having deflected a revolver bullet, which hit someone else in the conference room!!

Lets see here... all i need to build this for survival is:

Two or three weeks of minus -35 degree weather
A local operating sawmill
36 or 48 recycling bins
A non frozen water source

Seems legit.

ah yes a big ship that will melt if you accidentally go somewhere just a little bit too warm

Log cabins on the other hand are strong too and don’t melt in the summer.

Fascinating build. Good to see Pykrete being put to use. Couldn't replicate it here in Australia, but still fascinating. Winter survival is just so different in techniques to surviving the heat here, but the fundamentals are still the same (shelter, water, food)

Using newspaper instead of sawdust is even stronger - it’s like reinforced concrete

The aircraft carrier would just melt 😂

You lost me at 35-⁰ degrees for two weeks. 🤣 Hell no, not me.
