How to turn OFF notifications on Instagram

I have made a lots of tutorials on how to Turn OFF notifications on various devices and apps. After reinstalling Instagram, I started to receive crazy amount of notifications. Initially, I turn OFF the notifications individually as I was receiving them. But, eventually the amount of notifications just became unbearable. So, I went to the settings and turned off all the possible notifications on Instagram.

So, you got to go to your profile, then select the 3 lines, then select settings and then select notifications. Here, you can turn OFF notifications for individual categories or you could Turn of the system notifications. By turning off the Instagram's notifications in your phone's system, you shouldn't receive any notifications while you're not using Instagram.

None of what you're telling me is working! I have turned off every notification both in my phone settings and in the app and I need to know how to stop Instagram from notifying me when I go into my account in the notifications area. I have a video clip that's went viral and I'm tired of seeing notification after notification and I cannot find a way to turn this off so I don't see every notification.

The ugly truth is Instagram doesn't really turn off notifications. I have every single one set to off and I still get comments on comments. Worse, I get arbitrarily blocked for the most benign comments. I will no longer comment on Instagram just because I'm so tired of the lack of control.

I have 2 accounts and am trying to turn off notifications for juts one of them. I have all notifications turned off in the app and I’m still getting them. So annoying.

I only want to turn off notifications about comments I made in other people's posts/stories. I don't care how many people liked my comment from three months ago on somebody's account that I don't even follow. How do I turn those notifications off without turning off the notifications of comments and likes in my own account?
