Well I may be too young to have heard much of old radio shows before in the golden age of radio in the 1940's . I was born in the mid 1950's .But my Maternal Grandmother Lois talked about her favorite radio shows alot. I am a visual artist and designer during the day.

So listening to old radio shows, in the evening when my eyes are tired; makes more sense than TV. Nothing is better than the pictures in my imagination. Listening to these radio stories with my eyes closed is great ! It rests my eyes, and I have less eye strain the next day. Besides the radio shows have generated new ideas for textile designs, visual projects or drawings in my minds eye. It is a win-win in my book. Thank You 😊 for all the production, you must have to do behind the scenes.🧡

For me, it didn't matter who the voices were over the years of this series. They were all good in their own ways. Yes, Agnes Morehead & Orson Welles, are my favorites for the roles of Margo Lane and Lamont Cranston/The Shadow. But I loved this series of radio shows so much, I would listen no matter who voiced it.

He auditioned for the announcer of the Shadow with his deep resonant voice. But ... in Flip's words the audition went like this. Dad, **_Who knows what evil lies in the hearts and minds of men? So, I must say that there's quite a few episodes I've never heard before.
I remember I was at a comic book show and there was this older gentleman who had some Shadow comics and pulps I couldn't afford.
I told em I was looking for the radio shows.
He told me about an eccentric who lived in Pennsylvania but, he was a recluse.
He still gave me his number and tell him you got his name from me.
He said this guy had all the episodes ever made. Not sure if he would relent and make copies for you.
Can't remember his name though.
