Melee: Tanking + close to the boss + good damage + bassicaly can keeping swung its weapon without having to worried + doesnt rlly need dodging skills

Ranger : keep maintain a distance From the boss + can slightly tank + bullets + good damage + kinda needs dodging skills

Mage : also keep maintain a distance from the boss + cant rlly tank + mana + best damage out of them all + kinda need dodging skills

Summon : also also keep maintain a distance from the boss + cant rlly tank + summon do the job + not the best but can still do good damage + absolutely need dodging skill

When I play terraria I always play as a summoner, because I like it but I can easily dodge the attacks, so I always stay alive until the fight is over.
