This technique of rewriting trig in terms of sin and cos is always a helpful tactic in trigonometric affairs

The structure of the trigonometric functions is such that all of them can be derived from Sin(x)

So when you rewrite all of them in terms of sin and cos, its like going back to first principles.

This guy always starts off the video with a 30 second rambly verbiage of extremely vague, fragmented and meaningless general instructions

I think he does it more to organise his own thoughts than to teach
