I was sad that Dear White People wasn't in any theaters near me in Kentucky! I want to see it on the big screen!

I saw the movie and I thought it was very informative and insightful. It wasn't very subtle with its message, but I didn't really expect it to be. There were one too many monologues about how white white people are, but I like how it brought up the small bits of racism that pervade our society and college campuses. Even more than sending a message, it starts a conversation. But I thought this skit itself was funnier than the whole movie (the trailer gave away all the best parts).

Not bad

I kinda wish they replaced some of the goofier (and possibly unnecessary) scenes, though, like when Sam, Reggie and their crew were bitching at a *theater clerk* about Tyler Perry movies.  Granted, I'm sure they had great points, even though I've never seen Tyler Perry's shit (nor does it sound interesting), but... to bitch at someone as low on the totem pole of "Hollywood" as a random employee? o.O 

And who is 2 Chainz? A rapper of some sort? a fictional Tyler Perry knockoff?
