I feel sorry for the Dev guy^^ I can fully understand that he got some cheats for developing, monitoring and fixing bugs. So he definitly just forgot to turn them off.

The Super Mario Speedrun by Tavo Betancourt was actually not spotted because of someone counting the coins, but rather immediately as he did a "fast start" at every start of the level, that literally isn't possible on a controller. (He took most parts from a TAS run)

Because of that it was very easy to spot for other speedrunners. After they knew it was cheating, they started to break it down and spot every ridiculous hint making it obvious he's cheating. There are great videos on it.

He was mainly annoyed because he was one of the aforementioned cheaters!

That League example where the captain could see the public screen was unsportsmanlike, but also on the organizers for the fact that it was possible.

What’s funny is that the first streamer claimed sexism in the stream she cheated in. That’s just great. She’s going to blatantly cheat and then call anyone who says she’s cheating a sexist. Nice

The Azubu Frost "cheating" is much more of an idiotic design failure of the stage rather than cheating by anyone. If you're setting up a tournament with 6+ figure prizes on the line then DON'T position the players in such a way that they can see a giant screen showing where everything is on the map.

Clara is infamous. I was playing checkers at home and when my wife wasn't looking Clara took a couple of her pieces off the board. I got blamed for it!!
