What is most fascinating to me is that Plato, as long ago as his time was, still came over 9, 000 years after Atlantis and still had enough information on the topic to write true stories about it. History is a powerful thing....

This is why to me, the biggest tragedy in human history was the burning of the Library of Alexandria. If this "mythological" city really existed in our pre-literary history, that library would've had all kinds of information about it among hundreds of other amazing things we've lost forever.

I find it intriguing that rotating the map 180 degrees makes the Richat structure and Atlas mountains look like Eye of Ra/Horus.

Is it strange they were experimenting in that area to see if there is a magnetic field that keeps earth and space separated, and atlas was tasked with holding up the heavens to keep them seperate from earth? 🤔

Of all the theories of Atlantis this is the only one that makes sense and is backed up by things that were in plane sight the entire time.

Out of all the Atlantis theories I’ve heard this is the only one I find plausible. You certainly map out a case for it better then any other thought of area I’ve read about

I had the opportunity to travel to the sahara with a couple of my professors. It was really just a trip to see and learning about it’s geology. I was also a geopgraphic information systems (GIS) major and one of the professors work in both the geology and GIS departments. We put up a lidar drone, mapped out the structure. One thing that I noticed is under different spectral color analysis’s, the structure would exhibit massive detail of red and blue rocks like you spoke of.

As a geologist one of our main tools is and always will be a compass. I will never forget when we were all standing in the middle of the eye that there was 12 minute period where all of our compasses were spinning and we could not find true north, as if we were in a magnetic field. 12 minutes later our compasses were fine. We thought nothing of it cuz we weren’t send there to do major research. My thoughts now after hearing these theories make me think of how 12 is the number of olympians in greek mythology, with Poseidon being number 2.

Other than that, the rishat structure was huge, beautiful, and unlike any geological structure I have seen in my life. The desert was indeed once filled with water, so seeing this makes me believe that there is no better place for the lost city of Atlantis to have been. Great video, you earned my subscription

The fact that the mountains in the area have been called the Atlas mountains for centuries, along with the ancient map from Herodotus showing that region as Atlantes (Atlantis), not to mention the fact that there is fresh water under the middle of the structure where none is found anywhere surrounding the structure, all indicates that this is the place that Solon and Plato have described. Funny how modern science has conveniently left out the part about Atlantis being surrounded by impassible mud, which is why so many treasure hunters and adventure seekers dive in the middle of the ocean to find Atlantis, only to come up empty every time. In all my 30+ years of reading about and researching the subject, this area around the Richat structure seems to fit most, if not all of the criteria set forth in Plato's writings. No other suggested site comes even close.

This is not far off from the process that lead to the discovery that Troy was actually a real place and not fiction like all the naysayers of the time said.
